When I first heard about smokeless motor oil, I was intrigued.  I had heard of oil additives that thickened your motor oil and help slow down the smoking or synthetic motor oil that didn't smoke as much.  The problem with all of these products though is that they still contain petroleum.  Entek Smokeless Oil uses chemistry with their smokeless motor oil.  They don't use any petroleum products in their oil.  When we decided to use it, we were amazed at it.  We had an engine that smoked something terrible, we drained the oil, changed the oil filter and then put in 5 quarts of Entek Smokeless Oil in the engine.  When we fired it up, no smoke.  When we drove it, no smoke.  It is amazing.  If you have a car with an engine that smokes and can't afford the expensive repairs, this is your answer.  It will even pass emissions tests.  If you want more info on Entek Smokeless Oil, visit their website at http://smokelessoil.com
